What if my parent doesn't want to talk to an AI?+
Almost every senior who tries Amigo for a few days continues. Calls are warm, calm, and never feel like a test. If your parent doesn't engage after the trial, you can cancel — no questions asked.
Does mom or dad need a smartphone?+
No. Amigo calls a regular phone — landline or cellphone. Your parent simply answers. There is nothing to install, charge, or learn on their side.
Who can see the stories?+
Only you and the family members you invite. Stories shared during calls are private to your family. The memoir is yours. We never sell or share data.
How does the book actually get made?+
Once enough chapters are drafted, you review the manuscript in the app, request small edits, and we ship a bound, signed hardcover to your door. The digital edition is available throughout.
What if there is an emergency?+
Amigo is not an emergency service. If it detects signs of distress — no answer to repeated calls, expressed pain, confusion — you get an alert immediately. Keep your usual emergency line alongside.
